You want to lose that baby weight quickly and get your abs back.  Plus, you want to meet other moms.  We get it.  And we’re here to help.

Got a toddler who won’t sit still in the stroller during your workout?  No problem!  Leave your kids with Kim, our Playground Attendant, and exercise uninterrupted.  Our workouts are designed to rebuild your strength, train your core, and help you get back into shape.

This exercise program teaches moms how to safely return to exercise. In our program, you will:

  • Reduce your baby bulge so you don’t look 3 months pregnant when you’re really 9 months post partum.
  • Perform diastasis-safe exercises for your core so that you heal.
  • Strengthen muscles to restore alignment and reduce low back pain, plantar fasciitis, and more.
  • Exercise your total-body so you fit into your old clothes again.
  • Be inspired to make time for yourself.

Our 45-minute postpartum exercise classes are appropriate for any new mom and you can bring your baby eliminating the need and cost for child care.  You’ll use tubing and body weight for resistance training to retrain all those muscles that got weak during pregnancy.  You’ll keep your heart rate up with the circuit-style workout.  AND, you’ll restore proper core function while surrounded by like-minded moms!

The next 4-week session kicks off November 28, 2017.
We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am at Franklin Park in Purcellville.  Bring a mat and water.

 FAQs

Is this program only for post partum moms?

The workouts are geared towards new”ish” moms; meaning there’s no jumping or running to preserve the healing pelvic floor.  However, any mom who likes group training, low impact/high intensity exercise, and wants a friendly environment to exercise in is welcome to join!  You could be 3 years post partum and get a great workout.  Post partum is forever!

I’m not sure how my child will act in the stroller.  What do I do?

We’ve found that the littles really enjoy watching all the moms exercise.  There is so much movement and colors to see.  Bring some snacks and toys and if they do get fussy, it’s okay…..we understand!

I can’t come to every class in the session.  Can I drop in when I’m available?

Yes! Dropin is $17 per class.  It’s best to let us know ahead of time if you’re coming, though in case of weather changes and to know exactly where we’re meeting for the day.

It’s really hot and humid in the summer.  I don’t know if I’ll like exercising in the heat.

It’s hot, so we find a shady spot to exercise in.  Sweating is a great way to detoxify your body!  Bring plenty of water and a sweat towel.

Do you offer this program in the fall/winter?

Yes! We stay outside until it gets really cold, then come inside for the winter.  As long as there are moms interested, we do it!
