One of the more frequent questions I’m getting about the new facility is, “What is Metabolic Blast?”? It’s a unique group exercise class!? It’s similar to circuit training, but with some twists.? Picture the gym, divided into stations, two people per station.? One person is doing TRX Rows, the other, squats with dumbbells.? You and your partner both do 10 reps of the exercise, then switch exercises.? You continue flip-flopping between exercises for five minutes.? Then, you have one minute to rest and rotate to the next station.
There’s music playing and an instructor to time the sets and guide you through the workout.? You get a total body strength workout, plus a cardio effect because there is minimum rest.? While it may sound like Curves, I promise, it’s not.? Further, unlike traditional group exercise classes, in Metabolic Blast, rhythm is not required.?
